If you like puzzles and competitions and things, you might want to have a look at The Malice Box Quest. It's basically a fancy way of launching a book. The blurb on the site says:
"Over 30 days you must complete a series of puzzles to locate the seven sources of red gold scattered across the earth.
By accurately mapping all seven sources of red gold, the antennae grid of the Malice Box will be disabled, allowing Robert to battle and so defeat the Malice Box.
This will also trace a shape on a map of the Earth, guiding you to the location of the Malice Box – known as the FOCAL POINT.
Things are trundling along nicely with my new project Crowthorne Heritage. I'm getting the cards and photos up gradually, but seem to have got loads of other things that need doing in the next week or two, so it might have to wait a while.
Please go and have a look, and let me know what you think. Does the layout make sense? Do things work properly? All that sort of stuff. I know it looks a bit odd in Internet Explorer, and I'll be trying to sort that out when I can. If necessary, I may have to create a whole new theme for it, but hopefully
I've had a bit of an idea. I'm going to set up a totally separate site for the old postcards to live on. With any luck, other people will add to it, and other things like newspaper articles and stuff can go on there too.
It will be at www.crowthorneheritage.co.uk - hopefully it should be up and running within a week or two :-)
Just wanted to say a huge thanks to the people that bought me Christmas presents. I'm glad people found my wishlist thingy helpful - I got loads of things that I really wanted . I like presents! :yay:
I've finally got round to tidying up the Links page from the old version of the site, and it is now up here.
I've added a travel page, with maps showing all the countries I've been to.
OK, that pretty theme didn't last long. I had to change it, as the menus went a bit weird if there were too many items in them. So, it's changed again. I'll see how I get on with this one.
I've redecorated:art:the site. Again. I think I like this one, so it'll probably stay for a while, until I get bored of it. At which point, I'll change it again.
I think I've pretty much finished setting up Simon & Christina's wedding site. They seem pleased with it, so that's good. Now they just need to add stuff to it. So far there's a post from Simon, and a few photos. Hopefully they'll add loads of information to it over the coming weeks and months.
If you're not Tim, you can merrily ignore this post!
Thanks for the link, but a few things -
1) It's myf, not Myf. Lowercase m, you see?
2) What's wrong with 2 navigation bars? Eh? But if it makes you feel better, I'll get rid of one.
3) Stop abusing apostrophes!!! The occasional mistake is perfectly acceptable, but really....
4) Oh, and for schizophrenia info, you might want to take a look at Head First - it has links to all sorts of mental health info (I should know, I set the site up!)
Normal service will be resumed shortly.
