I keep needing to refer back to the old version of my website, which still lives on elsewhere, so thought I'd post a handy link to it here.

I got a surprise package in the post today. When I opened it, I discovered it contained a signed proof copy of First Among Sequels, a signed postcard of a Juristech narrative proximity device, and a little message saying thanks for my trekking after books. I've put some photos on my Flickr.

As you may be aware, I have an interest in folklore and urban legends. Not that I'm an expert, but I do find them interesting. Anyway, Snopes.com is a major site about urban legends, and covers an awful lot them. So much so that I think many people check there first off when they hear about a possible urban legend (kind of in the same way people automatically Google for stuff, or look things up on Wikipedia). Someone on one of the forums I inhabit posted this today, which I found highly amusing:

Websites are lovely when they work properly, but they are infuriating beasts when they go wrong.

Following the hacking of my site the other week, things seemed to all be hunky-dory when they were put back together. But no - lurking in the gallery bit of the wedding site, there was a whole army of gremlins. Those gremlins have now taken over the entire thing, and are trampling over it all while I'm trying to upgrade it and get it all behaving again.

Well, I've neglected the site for a few weeks. I tried to post an update a few days ago, but then everything broke because my site was hacked (sorry to anyone who was affected by all that, and thanks to everyone at Fuzioned for getting things back up so quickly).

So, a quick summary of things that have been happening recently:

Hi. I'm myf, and this is my website. I don't like having my photo taken, so I made a few Weemees instead. Here are a couple of little pictures of me:

I've upgraded the site, so it looks all different now. I hope you like it. I think most bits should work as normal, but there will be a few things I've forgotten about, or that just don't want to play nicely. If you find any problems, please tell me.
