I posted about this originally over on Facebook, but forgot to mention it here. So first, the backstory: Couple of weeks ago, I got a message via Flickr about some online travel guide thing having shortlisted one of my photos for inclusion in their new London edition.

My original FB post - "I've never heard of this site before, but they have apparently short-listed one of my photos for inclusion in their next London edition. As all my photos have Creative Commons licences, there's no money involved, but it's still pretty cool that they've fished my picture out of the millions of things on Flickr :-D

It's another good thing to come out of playing that Jasper Fforde ARG last summer - the photo is from when I visited the Dickens House museum to look for clues about the connection to Great Expectations. All that traipsing about was not in vain.

I think the new edition is available at the end of the month, so I won't know until then whether they've actually used my picture or not. How exciting!"

I got another message via Flickr today. Schmap have included my picture, and you can find it included on their Dickens House page.
