I got a surprise package in the post today. When I opened it, I discovered it contained a signed proof copy of First Among Sequels, a signed postcard of a Juristech narrative proximity device, and a little message saying thanks for my trekking after books. I've put some photos on my Flickr.

I suspect that other people who turned up to spend a day in Swindon might get a postcard or something as a thank you, but I kind of hope I got the book because of my marathon treks covering bookshops and libraries across central southern England. Whatever the reason, I'm terribly pleased with it! So thank you, Mr Fforde (and everyone else concerned) - it was weird, tiring, infuriating, educational, and (most of all) tremendous fun :-D
